Finished a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Aalborg University in Denmark in 1996. My industrial engineering career started in Detroit Michigan where I had the privilege to work with the big three and others related companies. Later I would move to Germany to work as a program manager for a European automotive supplier. In 2006 I decided to move from automotive to medical device manufacturing. Moved back to USA and started at Ossur HF as Director of Distribution. In 2013, I was promoted to VP of Manufacturing and Operations for Össur Americas Inc. In 2017 I was asked to lead a Strategic Sourcing initiative for Ossur and today I am overseeing all sourcing, procurement and planning activities globally. My objective is to leverage my Sourcing, manufacturing and distribution experience to help Össur establish itself as a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of non-invasive orthopedic devices.
